Blaco Management

Terry Bladow and Geoff Covalt founded Blaco in July of 2004. Terry Bladow now serves as the executive director and oversees daily business operations. In February of 2005, Blaco employed the services of Denver Saxton as chief estimator, scheduler and administrative project manager. Judd VanMeter came on board in August of 2006 as Superintendant of field operations.

 

Terry Bladow holds degrees in construction engineering and industrial education. Terry has over 25 years of experience as an engineer, superintendent, estimator, project manager, job costing, forecasting and budgeting, field and plant manager. Terry’s experience history includes various management services in the aggregate and mining industry. Terry’s construction specialty has been in asphalt paving on a wide range of projects for various states, counties, municipalities, private and commercial enterprises. Terry’s prior associations have been with Broce Construction Co., Inc., Hanson Aggregates, Jeter Construction Company and CSR America.

 

Denver Saxton, ICC holds a degree in Construction Science from the University of Oklahoma. Denver also holds a certification as an Interim Cost Consultant (ICC) obtained through the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering, International (AACEI). Denver’s ten years in the construction industry includes project management, estimating and scheduling with Broce Construction Co., Inc., Norman, OK, and Big Creek Construction, LTD, Waco, TX. His management, scheduling and estimating experience ranges from small commercial parking lots to newly aligned Texas state highways, valued upwards of twenty million dollars.

 

Judd VanMeter holds a degree in Environmental Science from East Central University. Judd owned and operated Quality Construction and Environmental for nearly ten years before becoming part of Blaco Construction. His prior experience was with ZIA Construction, Oklahoma City. Judd holds a certification through the University of Oklahoma for ADA compliance specifications and has an unparalleled understanding of how to build projects of superior quality, on budget and ahead of schedule. Judd’s ability to work with project superintendants and other subcontractors to keep projects moving at a steady pace makes him an invaluable asset to our company.
